Call for Participation

The second IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications, ISCC'97, will provide a technical forum for experts from industry and academia to exchange ideas and present results of ongoing research in the areas of Telecommunications and computers. The ISCC97 organizing committee invites participation from all those working in telecommunications and computers from industry, academia, and government.

ISCC97 has 31 technical sessions (including 2 plenary sessions, 2 panel discussions, and 6 invited talks) covering a variety of topics representing the current status of R&D, namely: ATM, intelligent networks, dynamic routing, multimedia transport & applications, network management, network modeling and analysis, speech/image coding and communications theory, wireless networks: modeling, performance, propagation, roaming & design; optical and broadband networks: transport applications, performance & protocols, satellite mobile systems, fault tolerance, service quality & reliable network architectures, internet services, Computing software, security & distributed parallel computing.

The conference is preceded by fourteen tutorials on June 29 and 30. The preliminary final program is available on the ISCC web site , as well as the registeration form.

The Conference will be held at the Helnan-Palestine Hotel in the Montaza Palace, Alexandria, Egypt. Detailed information on hotel accomodations is available.
